Me emocioné profundamente cuando vi cierta película, ya que desde hacía mucho tiempo no había presenciado nada comparable a ella. Me refiero a la película «2001: UNA ODISEA DEL ESPACIO». Antes de verla había sido informado que organizaciones tales como NASA, GE, Pan Am, IBM y otras habían cooperado con el productor y que se trataba de una versión realista del futuro a 33 años vista. Pensé que eso de «versión realista» sería simplemente otra nueva tontería y me dije: «Kubrick, ¿también tú has caído en esto?». Pero descubrí que este director era una persona más notable de lo que me había imaginado. […]
