I stayed at the Hotel Port-Mahon
from 27 to 30 January 2017.
I wanted to see
the English heritage in Minorca.
When I arrived, the weather was quite right:
cloudy, with a little wind, and some rain…
At my room I found a kettle to make tea,
exactly the same sort as I find in English hotels.
On the next morning I noticed and relished
the English food at the breakfast buffet.
At lunch, on Saturday,
most of the guests were English cricket players,
and the Reverend Paul Strudwick
of the Church of England was there.
