Manu San Félix
es camarógrafo, fotógrafo submarino,
buceador avanzado y biólogo marino.
Ha estudiado la foca monje del Mediterráneo
y las tortugas bobas desde hace muchos años.
Buzo desde 1981, San Félix es instructor
de las principales técnicas de buceo,
incluyendo el «rebreather».
Actualmente San Félix es director
de fotografía submarina / videografía para «Pristine Seas».
Ha participado en 14 expediciones oceánicas
con National Geographic desde 2009.
Ha hecho más de 8.000 inmersiones
y ha cursado muchas especialidades de instructor, incluyendo:
respirador, Nitrox, Nitrox avanzado, buceador de profundidad,
primeros auxilios de emergencia, y proveedor de oxígeno.
Fotógrafo profesional desde 1988,
los trabajos de San Félix han aparecido en las revistas
«National Geographic», «Mondo Sommerso» y «Tauchen».
Fue elegido «Wildlife Photographer of the Year» (Londres, 2003).
Ganó el «Buceador de Oro» en el XXXII Festival Mundial
de Imagen Submarina (Antibes, Francia, 2005).

Manu San Félix, Underwater Videographer
Manu San Félix is a videographer, photographer, advanced diver, and marine biologist
who has studied the Mediterranean monk seal and loggerhead turtles for many years.
A diver since 1981, San Félix is now an instructor
for all major diving techniques, including rebreather diving.
San Félix currently serves as the director
of underwater photography/videography for Pristine Seas
and has participated in 14 ocean expeditions with National Geographic since 2009.
He has logged over 8,000 dives and holds many instructor specialties,
including rebreather, nitrox, advanced nitrox, deep diver,
emergency first response, and oxygen provider.
A professional photographer since 1988,
San Félix has had his works published in
National Geographic magazine, Mondo Sommerso, and Tauchen.
He was awarded Wildlife Photographer of the Year (London, 2003)
and won the Golden Diver
at the 32nd World Underwater Picture Festival
(Antibes, France, 2005).
