Another great Scottish American.
Born in 1838 in Dunbar, Scotland.
Immigrated to the United States
with his family at age 11.
They settled in Portage, Wisconsin…
not far from the Boyd family farm.
He is considered the ‘father’
of America’s National Parks. […]
